Seat swap

Can anyone say from experience whether or not these seats will be plug and play with the existing brackets from my 2006 bench? If it requires modifications, I won't be interested at this time.

99% sure you drill the floor and bolt these down. I don't think you could attach them to your brackets.

Darn it....what about captain's chairs from a chateau of the same generation?

I can't see that being a direct bolt in either, but I'm sure there are folks with actual experience that will chime in.

For those of us that aren't too handy....who would I take it to to have those seat mounted drilled and bolted to the floor? Would a body shop do something like that?

Yes, they do. I am swapping the seats from 2000 Chateau to my 2010. Different floor brackets, but bolt on the same 4 bolt each.

Great news! so i could even remove the last bench and put the 2 chairs there then? i don't want to lose 2 benches and i don't know how much room i would have for the chairs to recline in the 1st row.
