Does anyone have any good ideas with pics/instructions on how to install a cable/latch setup for my 1959 F100. I don't really like the chain setup.
Thank you for any info! Chris
I purchased a pair of tailgate 21" cables from OReilly's. They are universal and come in different lengths and different bolt hole configurations. You have to come up with your own way to attach; many options. I also purchased some popular marine style latches. Many you'll find are for flareside tailgates but they do make a more functional latch for Styleside application.
