It's the one thing I hate about the truck. At work I haul fuel in a 80,000lbs gcwr truck and that thing has feedback. My 2004 GMC Sierra has feedback...kinda. whenever I get behind the wheel of the Ford , it takes a minute to get acclimated to zero steering feel. I actually have trouble maintaining the lane for a bit lol

My '98 Chevy K1500 Z71 was just as easy as this '17 F150 FX4. I just find that with the frequent need to go lock to lock for parking and maneuvering, that easier is better. That said, modern tech does allow for the boost to change depending on vehicle speed, so not sure why that's not adjusted that way or perhaps manually. Several Kia vehicles have adjustable steering boost. You click your choice in the menu and it's instantly changed. Since it's electric, that is, of course, easy to do.
I'd do things I can't mention for the ability to adjust the steering feel.

Hahaha. It just really surprises me that the higher trims at least don't have this adjustable feature. Even the Kia Soul, their smallest crossover vehicle, has this feature. I'm pretty sure the new Mustangs do, too. For what we pay for these trucks, there's really no excuse. It's literally just a setting in the computer.

I pretty strongly suspect it has to do with FMC thinking they are avoiding litigation from some dumb user who changed the feel from featherweight to heavyweight and got into an accident because of not being ready to work hard to turn the wheel quickly enough. Or worse, forgot to remember that the tongue weight of the trailer was going to make it feel soft on the nose. <shudders>
I know the SD's have electronic steering and I drove 2. One was unremarkable and the second (vehicle of choice) flatly turned me off of the SD due to extremely heavy steering on the road and around turns. I have driven 2 ton box vans that handled better. Now I am looking forward to 2017 Plat Screw FX4 when the recall gets released.

Don't feel like The Lone Ranger DevilDog, my 2017 5.0 FX4 w/3.55 has averaged 17 MPG consistently since new. I'm much happier with it than my 2014 3.5 EB with 3.73 4x4 that consistently averaged 15.5.

Ricky, we just got 22+ with 13 Eco max tow with 3.73's on a 3000 mile trip. I ordered a 2018 5.0 with 3.55's. Your 2016 with 3.31's and six speed has the same ratio as our new one in 9th gear, both right at 2.40. Our new 10th gear works out to 2.23's which I feel is way high for a truck but the 18 is about 500# lighter. We are heading to Florida from SoCal in December so we will see how it is. If it's near 25 I'll be real happy.

Gas mileage was another story. It had 2 50 gallon tanks, and both tanks _b_a_r_e_l_y_ got me 130 miles when we were on convoy.
OBTW, redline was 3500 RPM (it had a governor).
