1995 F150 A/C Problems
I've owned the truck for a little over a year so I do not know the history. In the Spring this year the compressor blew the bypass valve so I had it replaced as well as the accumulator and line filter. Now the problem doesn't seem to have been the compressor in the first place. I was told it was the fan clutch since it blows the bypass value (excessive high pressure) during hot ambient temperature days when stopped or parked. 3 fan clutches later as the first 2 were "bad" its still blowing off the excess pressure when stopped. By the way the truck never overheats. Any ideas?
