WTF!!!!!!!!!! driveline still causing a shake.

Took my drive line back out again today and had it balanced again, guy got it to 0, slapped back in truck and still have a shake at 30mph. I'm at my wits end with this and don't know where to begin to look for a solution. only thing that I have figured is the stock bolts and clips that hold center support bearing in place broke, so I went and picked up a couple bolts nuts and washers thinking as long as the bolts hold tight they should work. am I wrong?????

Need help....;.

Front or rear DS? Have you driven it without that DS to determine it's actually a DS issue?

rear DS. and yes I have driven it without the DS in and it was fine. The more I think about it where the carrier bearing bolts, i don't have the stock clips and bolts in there, so I'm thinking that because that clip is also used as a shim that it might have thrown my angle off.

Good, at least you're looking at the actual problem area. I would definitely address the clips and bolts. How does the rear pinion angle look?

checked all angles and they are within spec. I was just looking at pics on google and those clips go between the carrier and the bracket it bolts to. clips are about 1/16" if you think about it 1/16 can equate to quite a bit as far as changing the geometry of the driveline. I called local dealership and they have 2 clips and 2 bolts for a grand total of 40$ OH DANG!
I guess that'll be my next step.

Did your vibration begin after installing any kind of vehicle lift or leveling hardware? If so, you can try the 1/8" shims under the carrier bearing mount. When I installed my 2-inch front leveling kit, I had to install 2 of the 1/8" shims to stop my drive line vibration. The carrier bearing and u-joints were all good at that point, and it was only the shims which were needed to tweak the drive shaft angle.

no lift at all. I'm starting to get more confident that missing those factory clips, which also act as a shim are what i'm missing.
