Yellow Sub has not Turn Signals!

Ok, sorry for the delay in progress, go busy at work. I am tinkering with the Yellow subs turn signals. They don't work. Fuse #27 under the dash is missing, after research, that might have something to do with it? Also I have some relays missing under the hood. DRL #1, DRL #2, and DRL #3? What are they for? Are they necessary? Going to try and get and inspection and tag this swimmer Friday. Then it will be driven daily working out gremlins as they appear. Been a PIA trip, but this truck is growing on me.

Looking nice sitting there all clean.

The missing relays and fuses can cause issues.
I'll post some diagrams for you.
I put some extra stuff in with the diagrams that you might find handy.

DRL usually stands for Daytime Running Lights. It's a Canadian thing.

Being that it went under water the horns might have frozen up and need replacement. Do you hear the relay "click" when you press the horn button?

The horn below the passenger side headlight. You can get to the plug from the top and test it with a test light.

I don't know where the relay is, but, I do not hear a click. I have searched for the relay location online. Tried in this time sensitive ford manual I have on CD, it wont open on my new laptop? Gave up on that. From what I have read about other ford models, it might be on the back side of the fuse box in the cab. C270H? I don't know? I haven looked to see yet? It very well could be the horns. They seem to be a PIA to get to, so I wanted to rule out the relay first.

Funny that you ask about the horn. I almost added that PDF but thought
is was overkill on the amount of diagrams.

So this time I am doing a little overkill.

Enjoy

Awesome, thanks Yakiko. But, where is the Horn relay located? I still can't figure that one out. Because there is no click sound to be heard.

I just read that the horn relay is made into the central Junction box? Not serviceable? That's what I read anyway. Is that true?

That is correct.
But if your into taking things apart I have some photos of the way the CJB comes
apart. It's tricky but the relay could be replaced. There are some other discreet
electronic components in there also. Resistors and diodes along with the relay.
Remind me later today and I'll dig up the photos. I had talked to Ed about maybe
doing repair on the CJBs. But that was some time back. you need to first narrow
it down to it being the issue.
