So since buying this 01 f250 last year its time to take it south. At first i resealed the fuel bowl and hpop ,new hp lines re oringed fittings on both ends. then re oringed all oil rail plugs and then started in on the cac boots. cleaned out the ebp tube . then in the middle of January (15 below) did the glow plugs and relay. All went well till I decided to put new tires and alignment on it. Soooo then spent last week everynight installing ball joints and tie rods, what a Chore! Feels like a new truck and couldn't be more tickled. I have to give a shout out to Bob at DieselOrings.com . He was there all the way with help and insights and most of all parts. So I'm now gonna take it on a Florida vacation , wish me luck.
Thank you . I should mention I've been in the shadows here reading as much as I can on this forum. You guys are awesome! This community really walked me through a lot of the uncertainties I had had. Pretty much found everything I needed to here, Thanks again.
Update; truck ran great no troubles along the way. did notice some gear oil being pushed out the rear diff when i did the oil change Sunday. I will check vent tube and levels later this week. I think I am starting to like this truck more every time i fix it.
