2015 250sd gas

Thinking of trading in for a used 2015 6.2 with 93k miles. Most likely highway miles, but would like to get the input of 250 guys out there. This will be daily driver and pull travel trailer 5 plus times year.

I'd say go for it, the 6.2 is a solid engine. Ive got nearly 180k miles on my 2011 and its my daily driver. I get around 14 mpg but I really dont worry about it. I wouldnt drive a 6000 pound brick every day if i was concerned with mpg. I bought it to work and tow my dump trailer and it does both very well. No major break downs and ive personally put around 50k of those miles on it. Just normal maintenance and drive on.

if it had proper care, why not.

my 2012, has 153,000 miles..

check the hour meter in the truck... owners manual tells how to get it.
at 136,000 miles when I purchased mine... 4,100 hours.= 37 mph, a freeway truck.
and 600 idle hours.

Thanks for your input.... I am just concerned about high miles on a 2 year old truck. The interior shows very little wear. The bed is sprayed and has a bed mat. The old wear is marks on the bed mat. I am upgrading from a Tundra because the payload is only 1325 and with a family of 3 and 2 dogs are a few hundred Lbs over. I am also considering the 6.4 Ram since I have read that they are very close to each other. I had an F150 for 7 years and loved the truck which has me leaning toward the Ford.

Lets see, If I remember right I bought my truck fall of 2014 with 132,000 on it. Around 44,000 miles a year was put on it by an oil company travelling between the western slope of CO and WY. I was a bit nervous too when I bought it but its been a reliable workhorse for me and shows no signs of giving up any time soon.
