Yet another auxilary switch question...

Does anyone know if there is actual power coming off the back of the switches themselves? I would like to run power to my radar detector, that would be a nice and close power supply.

You can get power from the fuse block behind the passenger kick panel and tuck the wire behind the dash, windshield molding, and headliner in 10-15 minutes.

I hooked up my air bag compressor this weekend to Aux switch #1. It was very simple to do. I found the wires on the driver side up near the firewall, pulled out the brown/green wire, which is the Aux #1 switch, and spliced my hot wire to it. Previously I was hooked directly to the batter with a fuse and then grounded to the battery as well. I left the ground on the battery and since the Aux switches are already fused at the black fuse box above where the blunt end wires are located I did not need my inline fuse.
It was very simple and took me about 20 minutes. The Aux 1 switch is only hot when the ignition is on but for what I need, I don't need it hot all the time.
