6.4L air leaking... HELP NEEDED
Hello folks I could really use your help here... The other day I got on my 6.4L and I blew an intercooler boot, and had to replace that... Lost all boost when that blew out. Thought that I had everything fixed once I replaced that but then I heard a noice difference from before. Everytime I give my truck any gas it sounds like its leaking/sucking air. The leaking/sucking doesn’t happen barley at all if any at all when it is at idel... I got my boost back when I replaced the boot but still seems to be lacking some boost power and the egt’s are running substantially high. This is my first 6.4L so I don’t really know too much about this engine yet but I do know something definitely isn’t right. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
