A good friend told me you can really tell how fast time is going by looking at your friend's kids.

I remember getting a PAA sticker from miller_feed. I still have the truck. Not much done to it lately aside from a BTS 4R100.

I've around FTE for a while, I'm just a little behind on truck technology. I had a bunch of 80's and 90's Ford trucks but this is my first superduty-era (ok, barely) truck and first diesel. It's a lot of fun learning about it.

How many of us purchased our trucks new and still drive it daily?
I suspect that is an even smaller group.

Sad to say I'm the second owner. Bought mine in the fall of 2007. It was 4+ years old with 146,001 on the odometer. The original owner took the 50% depreciation hit for me.

I've easily put that much back into it over the years but the 7.3 is a hard habit to break!

I've never owned a new Ford truck. They are just too darn expensive for me to justify buying one. This is especially true since they are so well made that there is a lot of life left in a 15 or 20 year old truck.

My 02 that I bought new ended up costing me a hair over 5¢ a mile when looking at purchase price only. And my son in law is still driving it today so that cost per mile is still going down.
