Well, after 2 agonizing days of hunting down an electrical problem on my truck (burned up two brand new alternators), i was overjoyed to find this while i was ebaying after a job well done:
Sweet! Is this old news? or have a stumbled upon something that no one here knew was in the works? the seller is from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma - Silver Streak?
its two LS1 heads cut, sectioned and welded together.
i got that from the item description i guess i remember a post about this head (or one like it) from a while ago - but this is the first time i've seen pictures. i'm anxious to see what it goes for. any idea roughly how much money is in this head? how many hours of labor involved? could a competent, experienced machine shop create a head like this - or does Tech Manufacturing specialize in this type of fabrication?
yes it has cooling passages in it. It also would by far out flow a stock ported head i'll bet. He was talking about some serious power with the mods he was going to throw at 1. He was also talking about revving it to 7000 rpms but, nothing realy became of it because no intake or headers were made and it wasn't tested other than chamber cc's and head flow #s. I wouldn't be to excited myself it's a heck of a head but, price tag is probably about 2,000 and you still need an intake and headers.
it actually doesnt work for me either - but if you copy and paste the item number into the search bar @ ebay.com it takes you straight to the head. it's still at $200 bucks as of now...
