Weight Limitations
Currently I have a 2002 F250 Crew Cab 7.3, manual trans, 4x2. It also has a tuner which really woke up the 7.3. I have searched the ford site and internet to get some solid towing figures but I see everybody has their own opinions. I'm looking at a 5th wheel, Dry weight is 14k, hitch weight is 2760. I believe I will be fine if I add some bags to the rear but looking for other who have done this and get some opinions. Been driving Fords all my life. Just love my 7.3. Live in TX, DFW. Thanks in advance for the advise.

There are a couple weight-related stickers in your door jamb, can you post them?
They might provide a quick go/no-go for that 5th wheel.
If in the gray area, can you find a CAT scale and get the weights of your truck (you and full fuel tank, otherwise unloaded). Get at least two of the following: Total truck, front axle, rear axle. With any two of those, the third is a simple math problem.
A note on trailers... Dry weight usually means no propane, no water, no batteries, and often no options at all on the trailer.

Those are the figures you need to go by. What are your tires rated for?
I made the mistake of going by the dry weights with a 250, and soon came to the conclusion that I was actually in dually territory!! Good luck in your quest.

Welcome.
20,000 minus your trucks weight = what you can tow.
14K dry is gonna be really pushing it.
