having said that, pads make the difference in stopping
good pads will stop better no matter which rotors you use, even if they are warped
FYI: most warped rotors are actually just pad bulld up
A friend was at a parts store trying to buy rotors, he had them put the 'new'
rotors on the turning machine to true them, none of them were true, so much for quality control, when buying rotors, have them turned!
Yep, they turn em and stack on top of each other, sad that not every part store has a brake turning lathe, so people just toss that crap on, I was thrilled my 73 E100 was able to get the drums turned, didn't have to buy any Chinese crap, aside the several poor functioning master cylinders.
