Repalcement OEM wheels

This has probably been discussed before. What are the Ford 17/18" OEM wheel alternatives to the 2003 16" rim?

I went through the same thing recently, Tom and others helped me a lot. I found some 04 18 rims, already powder coated, on eBay. The seller dealers in wheels only and these were done well. I think I paid $1150 or so for the set. I probably could have found some cheaper and had them powder coated but was in kind of a hurry to get it done. I would suggest 35" tires, I think it fills out the Ex nicely. I have v-codes front and modded B's rear with airbags. I didn't have to raise the front any more for the 35's although I get a bit of spring rub, but that was expected. I'll be adding some spacers or modifying the steering stops. If you get any other OEM 18", you will nee 2" spacers. A good set runs about $600. Here are a few pics of mine.

hink10, those are exactly what I am looking for. Do you have a link to the seller so I can watch for more wheels?

The seller user name is avusmotorsports, go to advanced search to search for user name. You might contact them and tell them what you are looking for. Good luck!

Not necessary, you'll have a slight 'rub' at full lock.

Good deal, glad you found some wheels. What's it costing you for powder coating? post pics when you get it all together. I get a lot of compliments on mine.

BTW, If anyone happens to spot a single '04 18" wheel, let me know, I need one for a spare.

$100 per wheel for powder coating. Should be done by this weekend. Will post pics. Recommendations for 35 tires?

I don't know how and where you use your EX, but my on road only tow rig that stays parked all Winter is doing great on its Nitto Dura Grapplers in 305/70R18 (35"). They are the quietest truck tire I've ever used and are wearing well even with 6k+lbs on the rear axle most of their miles. They are a highway tire, so if you offroad a lot or see lots of snow they may not be the best choice for you, but for my use they are perfect!
