I pull a transmission to get a workout. If I did it every day I would probably be in better shape.

Is your 68 F100 Manual steering? If not I advise taking off the P/S belt. I might try that in my 79 when the traffic starts to die down (too many tourists requiring evasive maneuvers to avoid) to get a good upper body workout.

I used to drive my acura with no p/s (took it off for better road feel) and my friends civic had no p/s I dont see why I cant muscle it in my truck (on a side note we had a farm truck at my old shop with no p/s)

So just a suggestion, as for a formal workout I try to ride my bike as much as I can run on my ma's treadmill whenever I feel like it and VERY occasionaly lift weights.

I work shift work and goto school so routine is out of the question for me these days.

I once heard of a young farmer. One of his cows had a calf and the guy went out every day and lifted the calf over his head several times. When the calf had grown into a cow the farmer could lift over 1,000 pounds. And that's no bull.

work out routine

I run 3 times a day, ¼mile at a time, I work out with weights for about ½ an hour at a time, and do Marshal Art Routines, to keep everything moving. I am suffering from frozen shoulder just now, and the routines hurt some, but are freeing it up.

I use Arnold Schwarteneger??? 's encyclopedia of bodybuilding to get an idea of what bits to exercise and how to manage it. I also use a generic yoga book, to stretch, and practically any martial art book will give you routines to keep things moving - I have studied Karate for most of my life, and that provides real good isometric stretches and rests... very good for muscle control, and pretty good to defend yourself with too.

Other than that, work hard in blazing sunlight, and sweat like crazy - it kicks to body into either weight loss, or shock, depending on what your metabolism is doing at the time.. Shock is bad, weightloss is good.

Stripping curls, from 25lb to 10 lb are good for getting muscles used to working..

(isn't it a pain, when some fat guy like me gets fit, and brags about it.. )
