Pulled the transmission in 1995... yea I know... rebuilt last year...never run
it's filled up and today I'll run engine and the transmission thru the gears ...When I pulled engine and trans I never thought about trans linkage... duh
just checking with the gurus about the shift pattern... the lever has 6 positions and I'm assuming the far clockwise is park (since the wheels won't turn)... and as it clicks counter clock wise it would follow R,N,3(D),2,1
won't be driving it just exercising and filling the torque converter hopefully.. rear end is up on substantial jackstands Pics attached if my description is vague.
Yes that is the shift pattern. I had to think about it because I have the Lokar floor shift which mounts rearward of the trans lever, so all the way forward on the Lokar equals all the way rearward on the trans lever.
