What is this?
First of all let me wish everyone in the Florida area a safe evening!
Now, i am working on the wires behind my instrument cluster and found the strangest thing...
I have never seen this before, and have no idea what it is. i also fond a blown and busted fuse not far from it...maybe it went in it and popped out? Maybe it didn't...I am not sure.
So does anyone out there know what this could be? it does have power running to it. I am not sure if it is stock or not...i just found an alarm system buried behind all my wires, and not sure if it might have gone to it or not.
Well thank you all!
this know is spring loaded

1967/77 F100/350.
NSS activated by the NSS selector lever (D0TZ-7B097-B) that fits thru a hole in the steering column shroud, snaps onto the shift tube.
This lever has a knife blade end that fits into the NSS .. It's notorious for snapping off!

But i now have a wrench to throw into the equation. The steering column is out of a 78/79 truck. To my recollection, those 2 years had the neutral safety switch on the transmission.
Any ideas how to fix/rig it up? Is there any way to hook up a neutral safety switch on a C6 that wasn't originally equipped with it?
Thanks
