460 muffler advice

I have a 86 F250 with the 460. It's currently straight piped to a stock like muffler and it's rusting out. Looking for something a little louder but not too crazy. I get up at 3:30 Monday-Friday for work and don't want the neighbors getting too pissed. Any advice?

2.5 to 3" pipe size, steel, over 25" long, with chambers.

IMO go with the quietest thing you can find. Unless your engine is modified, you gain nothing power wise with the noise, and if your engine is silent, your passengers will be too as they sit in awe of how much torque you have.

I have a Hush Thrush on mine and it's just right for my taste. I rumbles a little but it's pretty quiet overall.

I went with a Flowmaster 70, 3" SISO, tailpipe behind right rear for my '97 F350 w/460. Beautiful V8 rumble with no "snap crackle" or highway-speed drone.
