well didn't expect this to happen. Lost the insert(s) to my hitch. Picked up replacements at Home Depot but they don't fit very well. Can someone tell me the FORD part number I need for this? I can look up 2016 but not sure if its the same.

I don't know the part number at the moment, but I have misplaced mine before and picked up a perfect-sized replacement at the local U-Haul store.
If you are a welder or know one you can make one ez. I made several, any large steel shop should have the components in stock, the tube and I would add on the lip to get an exact stop on the pin hole. The Ford design is just a straight tube and if you don't keep a pin in there all the time to hold it it will work its way out. Put a lip on it and it will only insert as far as the pin hole (you still need to keep a pin in) this keeps it all aligned.

The receiver is huge. I could not find one that fit in so had to do 2 and they fit terribly. A reducer from 3 to 2.5? than another reducer form 2.5 to 2".
Looks beefier than the Ford part to me. I might get one just to extend the hitch outward a bit. But it's for a 3 inch Ford. I just checked mine and it's 2 1/2 inch without the sleeve.
How about this one? https://www.etrailer.com/p-58102.html
A Google search shows these reducers all over the place. From Grainger to Home Depot to Advance Auto and many more.
I was looking for a 2.5" drop hitch one for my WDH. could not find anything. I got one from tractor supply, 2.5" to 2". OD was a very good fit, ID had to much play in it, I just welded it on the insert shank to keep it lined up and take the slop out. I think it was $12.99 if I remember right
