2017 Sub-Woofer add

I bought the Kicker SubStage system. Under the impression that the factory harness is there already to plug and play. The instructions that I can find from Kicker show me running wires from battery back. Anyone install on a 17 yet?

There`s a video on YouTube showing this system installed on what I think was a 2015 or a 2016 but it doesn`t matter because the 2017`s are no different.

2017 is different and the YouTube video (that I found) does not show the sub install.
Anyway, I popped the back driver seatbelt panel and inside is the plug for the sub. Cut a hole in carpet behind seat and bolted the new Kicker in place. I am waiting on my Forscan Registration so that I can make the change on the radio code and hope that the sub works. Mechanical install part took all of 10mins. I expect the same from Forscan code change. Fingers crossed. Hoping to also disable the auto start/stop BS at the same time.

Thats not bad, interested to see if you think it's worth the money. One of my only complaints about my truck is the audio quality.

2017 has the harness in the rear seat belt panel.
A bit of an update. I was able to turn on the sub with Forscan. Unfortunately I also did a code change to disable auto start/stop. It had some issue with MyKey settings and I am currently limited. Hoping to clear with the other key.

There are 3-4 different videos on YouTube showing the install.

Glad to hear that you`re almost to the point that you`re aiming for.

Keep us updated and have a great weekend.

I`ve heard it and believe me, it`s not worth the effort or price.

One can do so much better by spending the same or a little more at a car audio shop that knows what they`re truly doing.
