The factory manual may have it but don't know as I don't have one.
Of the 2 I have pulled, 1 with all the wiring the other with out wiring, I don't remember it being that hard.
Once I do some repairing and painting on it I will get it back in in a few weeks.

I remove the wiring with the dash, everything plugs in down by the parking brake pedal.

It's pretty simple; drop the column, disconnect the hvac stuff, unbolt the thing - lots of 10mm screws IIRC but it's been a while.

thank you!

I was trying to remove the plastic, but it became so fragile i was hopping there is another way.
I will try to unbolt the metal frame that holds it.

When you say plastic is that the top pad?
If that does have to come off before the main dash frame.

Go to the last page to see picture of what I call main dash frame.

right, i thought i will take out the plastic ( not the top ) off the frame, but looks like that's why it was difficult, it should be the frame that needs to be removed.

From what I remember of the "dash" it is 3 parts - top dash pad, main dash is a 2 part (2&3) the plastic outer shell and the metal frame.
I have never seen and "I" have not taken the plastic part apart from the metal part and don't see the need.
The top pad has to come off before the main frame get unbolted.

I thought I had better pictures of the main dash other than the area in the center where the HVAC panel fits that I am fixing.
Here is the best I have for now. If you need others/better ones let me know and come weekend I will get more.

I don't at all recommend trying to separate the plastic from the frame, that stuff was all assembled outside of the vehicle and installed as a complete unit, it's easiest to remove it that way. Removing the plastic from the frame in-vehicle is gonna be frustrating and probably not even doable, save yourself the frustration and just remove the whole thing all at once (sometimes lots easier with 2 people).

It's actually pretty easy to do, the hardest part I remember is some 10 mm bolts squished up next to the windshield, those ratcheting, flex-head wrenches are be-yooo-teee-ful for that job.

man, it was not easy at all
the hardest part was to disconnect all the wires with those dried out connectors

Your next one will be easier.

Yeah, that plastic becomes brittle and breaks sometimes but should still be usable, maybe with some reinforcement to hold the pieces together. But you got it done, that's the important part.
