I am wanting an F150 with adaptive cruise. I am under then understanding that I have to get a 2015+ Lariat with 502A option code on it to add adaptive cruise.
From what I found this is the parts and re-coding to add it.
My question, does it have to be a 2015+ Lariat with 502A option code. Can it be added to a 501a truck or an XLT with 302a or 301a?
Well you put down 3 different model levels, put down 1 model, the one you have and someone might answer your question. There are too many variables to answer the way you have it. I really doubt it can be fitted to a XLT level truck. I doubt it will work on my Lariat with 501A trim level.

Reason: pucntuation
There was another thread with almost the same subject line where the guy had added ACC. He included all the part numbers and had a description of what he had done. I don't recall what model he started with.
I wanted ACC on the 2018 Lariat I ordered but you had to order the high priced package plus the ACC. If you could have done it with the mid one I would have done it.
In a previous thread, a knowledgeable fellow said that the XL and XLT trucks were made in a different plant than the Lariat and above trucks. He surmised that they had different wiring harnesses which would preclude you from just adding it to an XLT without rewiring it.
