Is there a separate volume control for Android Auto when using my phone connected to the Sync3 system?
In my car, I see two different volume sliders. In the truck, turning up the navigation volume also turns up the music volume. When the navigation prompt clears, the music volume blasts me out of the truck...
Is there a way to have different volume levels when using Android Auto and the Sync3 system?
Adjust the volume while it is blasting you out.
...yea that is the way it is set. Did not believe it myself until I was on the was on the way to TN and adjusted it.
If you have Google Assistant, it's pretty easy, just ask her something mundane, like what's the weather, and when she's reading it back to you, adjust the volume to whatever you want. That adjusts the AA volume.
Once she's done talking when you adjust the volume you'll be adjusting the audio source volume (CD, Sirius, etc.).
While I was playing with this, I saw three different volume levels. Audio, Voice and Prompt volume circles. I only saw "prompt volume" once.
If I am playing the radio, it seems to to separate the radio volume from the voice prompt volume.
If I use Android Auto Google Playlists, the volume switched back and forth, loud and soft. It really did not seem to make any sense. Sometimes the voice prompts would use the voice level, and sometimes audio level. The same with the play lists.
There really doesn't seem to be any correlation on the volume levels on Android Auto apps.
