Hey guys I have searched high and low for a volume control for text and prompt notifications. It has become louder since my APIM was updated. The only way I am able to adjust the prompt is when I hear the GPS come on I can lower it but can not find it in settings. And I have tried to lower the text notifications when I hear a text come through but it does nothing except lower my audio volume.
It's not in settings. It's in the volume control you use for the audio. Non-entertainment audio (navigation, phone, alerts or whatever) is controlled by the volume buttons on the steering wheel or **** on the audio head unit you use for the radio (or whatever). Just like raising the volume on the radio, when navigation or phone sound is coming through the speaker, turn up the sound.
Try calling your house with your phone in the teuck, adjust the volume while a call is open and this will adjust the volume you want on the blue tooth devices and notifications. You wpstill use the volume controls on the steering wheel or the volume button on the radio, but you have to be in the call to adjust. Once it reverts to radio, the volume controls adjust just the radio. It is in the manual, though not simply followed.
