Rinse it with clean water and store in it's bag. That was in the directions that came with mine.

X2. What I do is let it air dry after I've washed it out with clean water, then put it back in the bag. Sometimes while traveling you can't do that, but I have one at home that I swap out each time I need it on the road.

DEF is 99% water. If it's clean your good to go.

When on the road, I always carry a gallon jug of water in the bed of truck that I buy at Wal Mart or local grocery store. Comes in handy for DEF spills or cleaning nozzle or washing hands.

rinse mine as well. I put mine in a Ziploc zipper bag. I let it air dry first. If you use the ford spout there won't be any spillage or overfill.

I do the same - I do make sure it's completely dry before stuffing it in the bag

And it is DEF spout or nozzle, not DPF which is part of your exhaust system, but we knew what you meant. LOL

You can use the one that comes with the box of Blue or the Super Tech brand from Walmart. The Ford nozzle looks the same but has a check valve that prevents over filling. I've had the Ford nozzle for 2 years and haven't unwrapped it yet because I've had no problem with the others.
