We've longed to welcome a Navigator to the family, and recently had the opportunity to do so. We have an Escape and an Explorer.
Our 2000 Lincoln Navigator seems in great shape (minor things here and there). I've noticed while driving it, that on the highway, if I accelerate (already at ~55mph, accelerate anything more than gently), or if the highway becomes an incline, there begins to be a low rumble in the drive train, sounding like a rumble strip.
Based on limited research, I purchased an IWE solenoid (which it seems I'll need to return, as this appears not to have one?). Since that's not likely the issue (based on other information I've read here), I'm not sure what to check next.
