Wrecker
Noticed this today on CL. Pretty cool and I should have another truck someday that is my birth year but out of my range... https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/c...257109349.html

Nice looking truck even if it is an off brand.
I saw this on a flyer leaving the grocery store tonight.
The auction is 20 minutes from my house, I might need to go just to watch.

1946 1 1/2 ton flatbed. 6 cylinder.
Some cool looking old tools too:

I've never seen the MH data plate on the inside of the door.

Sorry at first I accidently posted a 53 chev pickup. Not sure how I did that, but at least I was able to edit and get that Marlon Brando-Herrington up on the screen....

Oh, that explains why Joe said something about it being off brand and then posting a pic of a nice 46 Chevy flatbed.

Time to comment I guess. If the truck is fully operational as claimed I think it is fairly priced. While admittedly the big M-H models don't command the money of the half tons, the cost involved putting any truck back into operation is considerable. And if the M-H components, and wrecker bed equipment, are in good order it's hard to find fault. I agree that the M-H badge doesn't belong on the door. On 53s I've seen it would be mounted on the glove box door. Stu

I think the larger fender gap in the front, plus the hood being slightly open in that front on shot make it appear to sit nose high.
