It was driven into the garage 50 years ago, 20 years ago the tri-power was stolen, and now the entire engine is covered with leaves? That's a helluva lot of leaves...in a garage...with hood closed....in 20 years.
Ironically, I just picked up a car that had been sitting outside, under numerous covers, since 1969. The engine compartment, up front all around the fan & over the A-arms was packed with leaves. I strongly suspect it was squirrels. The '35 could've been the same scenario if squirrels had regular access to the garage.

It's pretty cool. Pretty safe to bet the hidden reserve won't get met, very seldom does. It grates me a little that people want top dollar (plus) but won't go to the trouble to drag it out, clean out the crud and get good pictures.
Love that it's an Olds. If I could pick any engine for a period rod it would be a 324 Olds with 56 heads. I put 56 heads on a 303 once and that was a sweet running engine. Also the first jitney I built when I was 15 was a 371 Olds with 3 deuces.

I agree on getting it extracted and cleaning it up. If it's a true barn find then take some before and after extrication photos. It looks somewhat "staged" to me. I would have to drop in a 50's built Flatty in it though.
