Just my .02 cents worth and a savings to you of around $500 to $700 depending upon which FASS system you choose.
There are two schools of thought on this and the vast majority of us here on the 7.3L forum adhere to the theory that it is best to prevent air from getting in fuel in the first place as opposed to trying to eliminate air once it is already entrained.
The Hutch Mod ($43-$200) will accomplish this task very nicely and you can view those results with a RACOR PS-120 pre-pump strainer for about $60 more.
Your stock fuel pump will supply all you need up to about 450+ HP with BOSCH replacements costing around $100.
If you do the Harpoon Mod at the same time, you'll speed up your fill up time and gain a few gallons of capacity.
So, in short: not worth the money IMO.
