I have an antenna that was broken off when I bought my f150. I have to replace the whole thing, not just the mast. I bought an antenna from Advanced auto, but the normal "motorola jack" doesn't fit in my radio. Here are some pictures. Anybody know what kind of replacement to buy?
You can buy those as connectors and put them on the end of your cable (you'll have to remove whatever connector is there, and have 4 or 5 inches of "extra" length to make it easy to do).
the "socket" which is the thing on the left in your hand, accepts one of those, which is the industry-standard "car radio" antenna connector (as a ham, i dont think that connector is used for *anything* else anymore)
