351 Throttle Body Sensor

So how bad is it to replace a TBS? YouTube shows you have to take the throttle body totally off. Any advice would be appreciated.

yes you need to pull the throttle body to change that sensor. make sure you have a new throttle body gasket on hand. Use Throttle body cleaner only on the TB.

why do you think the tbs needs replaced?

Running ragged, shifting weird and finally the check engine light came on. Analysis said it was TBS.

I guess you mean the Throttle Position Sensor(TPS)? If so yes.. it's near impossible to get at without removing the throttle body from the intake.
