51-52 speedometer

the speedometer in our truck is missing the green tape behind one of the turn signal arrows. Haven't taken it apart so it might be in there but assuming it's not what have you guys used that would/could work.

hi Jonathan,

I went to a craft store and bought some red and green cellophane sheets there for a '57 Chevy I restored. . They were 8.5 x 11" sheets if I recall. Another choice might be to go to Staples and get some presentation binder sheets there.
Inexpensive too.

There is also light bulb dye. Check with your local model railroad shop or Amazon.

Talking about the red..... Don't know about 51 to 52 but 53 to 55 have a red plastic jewel type dot for the hi beam indicator. It was taped into the back of the instrument panel.
