I bet you also have a bigger bump into your driveway.
Maybe, but I've driven my truck through the last few hundred miles without a problem in multiple different scenarios. If I haven't had a problem yet I don't think I will.
I'd never guessed there'd be a real noticeable drop in power with all that torque ... with a level or no lift the truck eats up the tucked in 37s on narrow wheels which is why I'd opt for a 35 on a wider wheel with a bit of offset on a level, a truck on a wider wheel with 35s will appear bigger than a truck on 37s with only a level or no lift.
I totally agree with this. 37's are dope but IMO run those with a 4" lift kit and some decent offset. Otherwise 35's on a leveling kit with a little tire poke
I'm thinking of 285/75-18 on stock wheels.....but I was wondering if 305/75-18's would fit. 285's are just under 35 and 305's are about 36. just wondering if stock 18's are wide enough for 305's Anyone running 305's on stock 18's?
well, I swapped the tires back to the 37's.
they look way better and ride way better
I was getting rubbing on the driver side sway bar and both radius arms at full lock.
I removed the sway bar drop down brackets, which moved the sway bar back up, now I have no rubbing there.
still a little bit on the radius arms.
I am looking for new wheels anyway. a little less offset and I will be set
I am seeing the Carli 4.5" lift in my future so the 37s will be good!
It all depends on the wheel you choose. With the right offset there aren't any rubbing issues, I've had no problems whatsoever.
Durst, do you have a picture perfectly straight down the side of your truck to show how much your tires stick out? I am heavily leaning towards a 2.5" level and 37's, and you are one of few that says they have zero rubbing issues. I would like to see what that +18offset looks like from the front or back.
