Trying to find axle code

Hi there I am trying to find the C9N axle code from my 91 f350 . Can't seem to find it . I have seen c9 but no c9n . Does anyone one know ?

Care to post a picture of your door frame sticker. There are a couple of other threads asking the same question. Unfortunately none of them have a real concrete answer. Most speculate that it is a typo where the "Tape" code is not spaced properly, giving a three digit axle code. Odds are good that it should just be C9 for your axle code.

A 3rd character in the axle code means you have a front limited slip diff.

That has been stated before, but has shown up on 2WD vehicles.

The first two digits of the AXLE code refer to the rear axle, the 3rd digit refers to the front axle.

1959 thru today:

If the first digit of the AXLE code is a letter: Limited Slip. If the first digit is a number, no Limited Slip.

Front (4WD) & rear (2WD/4WD) axle ID tags located under one or two of the bolts that retain the inspection covers to the housings.
