I almost met Alex trebec once -- they were interviewing for contestants from base to be on Jeopardy-- they need 5 people and I was number 7.

Sorry He is doing very well- His surgery went fine and he even played in a bball game (not for long) but he did make a basket :-)

He is trying to get into Pilot training school. He has been accepted to several small colleges if he doesn't make it into flight school. (He wants to go to college near his girlfriend (who has some huge scholarship to a college in Wichita) He graduates this year and actually might move into the Ritz Fantasy suite for a year or two :-) (Probably not but maybe) His sisters are a mess but he seems to be making out alright.

Good to hear!

I question whether his medical issue would disqualify him from pilot training. For instance if someone was concerned it may happen again during flight?

I said the same thing- but he will be cleared medically so.... I guess its ok.

I just hope he is not prone to something like that happening again. I don't know if just anyone would have that same issue if they were straining themselves like he may have been lifting weights, or if someone has week spots in their veins that blow out?

He was in a weight lighting contest with his buddies at practice. He did 160 squats and fell over-- apparenetly it had been that way for awhile though.
