Excursion 6.0 Starting Issue
Hello. Today went to start up the 6.0 Excursion, engine cracked over very good as it should but would not start. I checked battery terminals and wires attached all tight. I waited about 15 minutes before calling ford and it fired right up, checked several times during the day with no issues. Anybody ever had this happen to them or heard of this. Why it would it not fire up and then 15 minutes later did.

Would be wild guesses without some meter readings. It could be wiring harness or high pressure oil leaking down during the night. Yes, it has happened to a lot. You can do a search here or on youtube Just check for 6.0 hard starting. My best wild guess would be dummy plug seals. Possibly the reason that it started after cranking for a while, you just refilled the high pressure system.
