After many moons of working on the brake system, i believe i have brake fluid coming out of the warning switch hole..... Surely that cant be right... Looking at the cross cut diagrams there is a seal on each end of the plunger that trips the warning switch... Brand new PV, did the seals fail, or did the plunger trip when I was bleeding it and it allowed fluid to escape ? Any insight would be grateful...
I don't think fluid is supposed to be able to get to the center of the assembly, where the switch is.
Since I've never taken one apart, or tried to, I don't see why you couldn't disassemble one and put in new O-rings and seals.
To go the full mile, you'd need to find the spring specs, and some way to dyno the valve assembly's springs to see if they still measure up...
Yeah... but its brand spanking new .... I just got all 5 connecting lines to stop leaking, so taking it off now is like trying to pick which finger to saw off...... Flare fittings.... who designed those, and we ran with that design ?
