Trying to find a Lariat with 18" wheels that could seat 6 with just the options I wanted proved too hard to find so I'm jumping in at literally the last couple days to order a '17.
My color choices are magnetic gray, caribou, or white gold. I'm buying this vehicle to get into the RV life with a fifth wheel. Our window of time may be 5-6 years, maybe more, but if not, what color would be easier to resale? ( My only issue with Magnetic gray it seems to default to black and in Florida, that gets very hot!)
For re-sale white always seems to be easiest but if that isn't on the table I would think Magnetic. That said its and expensive truck and you are the one driving it, I would buy what you like and what makes sense for you.
Since I own a White Gold truck I will say that is the color to buy! I have to say that this color seems to hide dirt way better than any color that I have owned, including white. That may turn out to be a bad in the long run!
Some of the reason we picked this color was that a lot of the newer 5ers seem to have an outside color that would go well with the White Gold. Like the other poster said...buy what suits you and your ideas.
Wish my White Gold was just a bit darker like the old Arizona Beige I had on my '04...other then that I'm glad I got it because its so easy to keep clean. All the colors look good on these trucks and like said a lot of RV's have brown or gold in their color schemes so they kind of match.

In Lariat..... it appears you can get the light interior (tan/camel) in every color except magnetic. The camel interior is easiest to find in white gold, caribou, bronze fire, and white.
Based on the lighter interior and your comments..... you should focus on caribou and white gold.
I would say toss up on resale with either color.
Mullinax in Mobile and Florida did have a few caribou Lariats in stock a month or so ago. Also a couple of dealers in the Birmingham and Tuscaloosa area.
I may be difficult find a 6 seater. I like the option but most dealers/public prefer the console 5 seaters. It will be difficult locating a Lariat 6 seater....... especially with caribou or white gold with camel inside. Best hope might be to find a dealer you can work with and get them to locate on their system.
Silver .. I know that wasn't one of your options but Silver in Florida is an easy sell. Plus it doesn't show the dirts near as bad as my 16' 350 Magnetic did.
