"mattyB" If you see this post can you let me know wich blue is that? Tnx!! d worry about truck bieng the same in around therei live far away in the caribean
I'll have to see if I can get the exact color code , That will get you close.
We ( not me, my buddy that painted it ) got alittle creative with the mix. It's based off a dark metallic blue right out of the Napa book, He went with the large metal flake instead of the small which was called for then, As he was putting the clear on ( 3 coats ) He added some color to the clear, Less with each coat. If the truck is clean and sitting in the sun the paint has a real "deep" appearance.
Let me get with him on that code, And I'll let you know.
My truck started out as a white work truck. ( Custom is the original trim level ) So the inside was white with the light blue dash and bench seat. We painted the door trims and all so it turned out pretty good having the light blue inside.
I've never tried it but I hear that there is some pretty good interior paint out these days. There is also a product out that promotes adheision when painting plastics. Bull Dog is one brand that I have heard alot about, I've heard it's the best, But again I've never fooled with it. If you think you might go that route I would definetly try some test pieces first.
