Ok talked to west coast diffs and The gear shop. Both really nice and helpful (reasonable prices too). But I am being told there are currently no options to run 4.10?? They are saying 3.73 and 4.30 only. Anyone have any insight? Seems like 4.10 would be the sweet spot for the 6.7 and 37's..
Just wondering if anyone had anything to add here? I guess no 4.10's at the moment unless someone knows otherwise? Not sure about the 3.73 vs 4.3 - I feel like 3.73 is too tall and 4.30 would be too low with 37's.

The 4.30 feels great with my factory 31.9" tires on my F450. Surely a 4.30 isn't too much for 37's!

I was on the Ford parts website today looking up gears and the do have 4.10 gears for the front but not for the rear. Only 3.73 and 4.30 for the rear.
I too wanted 4.10, but will probably go with 4.30. Ford Parts Unlimited have both front and rear 4.30 gears for $542 shipped...
I was told no - so I guess no current models are offered with the 4.10's? With the f250 axles anyway..
Good to hear!! It's my daily and I drive mostly city but it does go on long road trips unloaded (so 80mph) - I was worried about the rpm's being too high.
4.10 is an option on a F350 dually. so the gears should be available for at least the bigger axle. I believe the F250 uses the same Sterling axle the Super Duty has had for years, so 4.10 should be available

You need to be very careful about buying gears from previous year Super Dutys. On the 2017 250s they have a 35 spline axel shaft where previous year models with the same Dana 60 front and Sterling 10.5 rear, they used 31 an 37. If you want to play it safe I'd stick to the oem 3.73 or 4.30 35 spline gears.
What size tires did you input and what did you enter for your transmission ratio? I believe the ratio on the automatic is 0.67:1 in 6th gear...
Apple's to Apple's it doesn't matter the the transmission or tire size as long as you compare 37s to 37s or 31s to 31s the final gear ratio is the only thing that changes
