overdrives and 460
Is this a good idea or would a E40D be a better choice? if so how hard would it be for a back yard mechanic? maybe someone in Socal could recommend a shop.
Thanks Wayne.
I've come across complaints about the electronics on a E4OD, but no experience with them myself.
From what I've come across an electric fan on the radiator is a good place to start for 460 mpg, about 2mpg claimed by some. About the same as those who did an OD swap. I thought about it for my truck but in the end adding OD would have taken me a very long time for it to pay for itself.

It was dynoed at 440 h.p. and 500 ft lbs of torque
and I am starting to think that it would be a waste of money.
