460 transmission

460 transmission

I was curious if anyone knows if i can get a 5speed automatic tranny to bolt up to my 460. I dont think this will work so i may have to end up going with a C6. I dont know much about trannys. All i know is that i want to beat a 04 cobra mustang. can i accomplish that with a slight bit of motor work and a C6?

I do not think there is a 5 speed automatic transmission that you could attach to a 460.

The E4OD is a four speed automatic that came with the 460. That wouldn't be hard to do.
