Is there anywhere else that a vin could be on that truck? I'm talking to the guy who owns it and the previous owner wrecked the truck and replaced the cab so the tag on the door isn't right. He is pretty sure it is a 60 or 61.

1948 and newer trucks are registered by their specific VIN's.
There is a hidden VIN stamped on a frame rail, but where it's located on a C series, I haven't a clue.
Suggest asking this and further questions in the LARGE TRUCK forum. Most members of this forum have 1961/66 F100/250/350 pickups.
1957/86 C series cabs are similar, but 1958/60's have dual headlamps, while 1957 & 1961/86's have single headlamps.
