How do I figure out how much Rust Bullet I need to coat the underside of my, 1997 F-250 super-cab, pickup truck? Is there a simple formula for this? If I try to figure the surface aria of it all I would be here calculating into the next decade. I would like to get 3 coats on it. My frame is rusting bad. Need new spring brackets.
I'm using Rust Bullet on my build. Word of advice, read the instructions and follow them carefully. If you are applying to bare metal, buy and use the metal blast product they sell according to instructions.
I had to re-do my frame and axle a second time because I didn't follow instructions and the coating just peeled off like aluminum foil.
After following instructions it cured hard as a rock. I can take a wire wheel to it and it will not penetrate.
