Just a guess.......... but you are not looking for power for the compressor?
You are looking for a low amp keyed power source for the pressure switch which activates the relay for the compressor?? Correct?
I do not know the answer ..... simply trying to clarify. Big difference in power to the compressor and low voltage power to the pressure switch. Hope this helps!!
BTW.......... I had a bolt in on-board air system in my F150 for 8 years. Absolutely best mod I ever did on any truck. I did not use Viair ......... I built a custom system. I bolted my 12v compressor in under the hood and a 3-4 gallon tank on the passenger frame rail. Quick connect for air was mounted on the rear bumper. 35' coil hose could hit every tire on the truck and trailer. I usually used it a couple of times a week for myself/family and to help others at work, the side of the road, etc.
I am also very interested in determining a low amp keyed source for the pressure switch. I plan to put a system in my F250 shortly after it arrives in a couple of weeks. In my F150, I tapped a 10 amp keyed fuse in the cab, ran wire through the firewall to pressure switch on the tank at the passenger frame rail. The other side of the pressure switch (wire) ran back to the relay on the firewall at the top of the engine bay. Compressor "power" was direct wired to battery.
Thanks for the replies, My truck is a Lariat. I am looking for low amp keyed power in the cab to connect to one terminal of the on/off switch, the other terminal will connect to the compressor relay. The compressor itself will be wired directly to the battery.

That makes sense. I will be following this and hope you get some good answers. I will be doing this in a couple of weeks myself (ETA 9/1).
The compressor I'm looking at is 46 amp so it will be a direct wire.
How/where did you run the wire into the cab for the pressure switch??
Guy here tapped a fuse inside for the heated steering wheel. What's available may depend on your engine, trim level (XL, XLT, Lariat... etc.) and optional equipment.
Hey has any one tried one of these plugs? you can run a power wire outside the wiring harness so you don't need to leave the key on to power acc. in a trailer or what have you. It is reversed engineered to work seamlessly with the round seven plug.
