Unfortunately too far away. Last time I went to Oklahoma to buy a '40 1 1/2 ton chassis it almost caused a divorce. This would definitely would cross the line but if it was closer I might be tempted.

This one is a lot closer to SoCal. Looks pretty straight in the photos. Not sure if I like the Chevy engine but for 2 grand with a title its not a bad price IMO. AND it has a script bed.

https://sacramento.craigslist.org/ct...269666266.html

Has clear title and is registered as a 1942 commercial truck. We believe this is an F6 (2 ton) because of the 2 speed rear end. May be an F5, but I have learned that only the F6 had a 2 speed rear end. Was running when parked. Has 327 Chevy with 4 speed trans and original 2-speed rear end. No rot on the body. Surprisingly good condition overall. Located in Placerville.

As much a jailbar freak as I am I would still take that 35 and figure out the title later. Dang, what a handsome vehicle and a 59ab to boot!
