I thought the same thing. I spent a month growing it out after I retired (been shaving it bald for 10 years) and realized it was much thinner than I remember. My wife agreed that I should stay bald. She did, however, make me grow a mustache and goatee the moment I took of my uniform for the last time. I didn't think I'd like it but I do and can't see myself without it now.

C8 Corvette was revealed last night. I do like the styling and aesthetics of it, except for the back. Not quite sure of the back yet, but I am holding my final thoughts until I see it in person.

The interior looks really good, except for the single row of buttons dividing the space beyond driver and passenger. I am sure I could get used to it though... I still prefer a turbo R8, but I am an Audi fan ever since owning an S4.

Less than $60,000 and 0-60 MPH in less than 3 seconds is a good way to start the mid-engine configuration.

Sitting by the lake drinking some cold beer waiting for the fire to be right to cook some dead cow and this 1995 7.3 pulled into the spot next to our camper.

It purrs like a lion...

He said it has 350,000 miles on it and he pulled the engine last year to change the o-rings and do some routine maintenance on it.

Nice looking truck and far less common than the luxury pickups of today.

Ya, I was pretty impressed with it when he pulled in. Nice looking truck that you rarely see on the road in modern times.

I very very lightly regret getting rid of mine. I had it for 4 years, but I was ready for a little updated version....hence, Ike.

I like the look of the OBS on the outside but the interior is far too old school for me.

The one huge benefit, though, is no smog check so if it bolts on and you can afford it, you can have it.

I had a 95 7.3 with the 5spd. Traded it in when I ordered my 99. It was a nice running truck. I'd like to find a set of those rims in nice shape. Should be 170mm like mine.

Today's culinary experiment is a fusion of gravlax, cream cheese and orange marmalade in a Japanese style temaki (handroll). Just call me Kenichi Goldberg Olafsson.

It's not morning and I'm not drinking coffee, yet, but I did just get up and around. Don't judge, I worked until 0400. It is interesting that I used to go to all the forums pertaining to my profession first thing in the day after checking and answering all the e-mails. Now I come to this forum to try to pick up new tidbits...strange how addiction works...isn't it?
