We have family in Boise, Challis, Orofino and Lewiston in ID. We go up there every couple of years and are headed there this spring... Would love to grab a beer by the Clearwater river or Snake river if you settle in that area. We usually swing down to AZ to see friends on the way back to GA though, so just about anywhere in ID we could make work.

Its the 3yr plan fellas. Cash out the bullhead pad and buy "almost" an outright in meridian/caldwell area. Just outside Boise. My bro and his fam will dwell there until i roll up. Rent free/very little rent on his part but the good thing, he then finds work and i have some1 i trust at the home. We stay here in ca til daughter graduates(3yrs) then off we go. I either then, sell the home to my bro or i move in. Id rather he settle there and buy from me. Id rather hit Twin Falls or the Rixby/Rexburg area. Good thing with my bro goin that way is that, his wifes' family side ARE ALL going that way. Family from az goin, her aunt/uncle from here are rollingbout..etc, plus his expecting a boy, theres enough girls amonst the family...anyway, thats the plan. I go there then, drive for a few yrs then call it quits. Fish and hit the rv parks while bs with Sous on how the hell the, Fart Smeller meaning evaded us for the last 40yrs..lol

I had some friends in Sand Point back in the early eighty's. We went on a little drive and looked at some property values. At that time I could have bought into a nice little place with the cash in my pocket and I ain't Bill Gates by a looong shot. I imagine it is a whole lot different these days.

My Uncle worked out of Sand Point all his life. He lived in Priest River Idaho just below there. Loved it up there. Just three years ago in Eagle and Star Idaho I had family move there. We also looked there. The homes have doubled in some areas there. It's the Orange County of California there now. But it is beautiful there, and you get the four seasons. Wish I would of moved when I was younger. Believe me, the kids would love it there anywhere.

I am confident you will be happy with the 1944-HD clutch. My clutch has never slipped or not inspired confidence when backing the trailer or starting out in precarious traction situations. It is pricey, but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Nice Wes!!! Looking forward to install and pics!!

Too bad it's not a LUK LMAO....Just kidding man. If I could have afforded one when mine went, it may have well been my choice. Does it have the all-metal TO bearing?

In theory
Opened the boxes, no bearing... Sent SB an email. Not expecting an answer for quite a while with the holidays tho.

Oh little known tidbit on SB clutches, if you pay even $.01 less than they currently "suggest" on their website the warranty is void, has to be proved by including the receipt. Have to give them your vehicle vin, dont want to? No warranty. Also when you go to fill out the warranty paperwork, the installer has to include their ASE certification number, which rules out any shade tree mechanic or DIYer getting a warranty, which in theory you'll never need, but if you do just go pound sand

Warranty paperwork

I bought mine from Summit Racing for much less than what SB wanted on their site. I am not sure what was in the box because I sent it to Jason the same day I received it without opening it.

No warranty needed when it performs flawlessly, which is what we want to happen.

I agree, but there is always the new guy on the assembly line, and there's that one thing that's assembled at at 2:59pm on a Friday, or the clutch kit that's boxed up on May 2nd 2018....

Im not surprised of the missing bearing. Vendors do it all yhe time. Is there a "content" list printed on the box?
The vendor we use for our fire sprinklers, remove the box of screws and sell it seperate of that of the bravkets we order that the screws came with.
Theres an item at top my head for our trucks thats eluding me at the moment, that does the same thing. Remove from contented box and sell seperate

That reminds me of the time I had to get some parts for the airplane so the mechanic could fix it. He actually prefers that we supply the parts when possible because he has a huge parts bill that he doesn't want to see get bigger. Anyhow...when the box came in I opened it to verify that everything ordered was in there and he busted on me for 'having to open it'. I explained how I didn't want to bring him a box with one of the necessary parts missing and delay the job by another week, he didn't know what to say then.
