% window tint for conversion van

% window tint for conversion van

What is the window tint percentage on most conversion vans? I bought 20% but would like it to match the other factory comversion side picture windows. I am trying to do the side door and back door windows.

Different conversion companies may use different %'s.

Not too mention, tint from different manufacturers can have a different color and the tint can fade and discolor over time. Best bet would be to take it to a tint shop to have it matched.

Many states have their own restrictions on tinting automobile glass. You should contact the regulating agency for that in your state. In Virginia it's the State Police. Being rear and side door glass it may not be regulated as glass here is optional.

Can you get a ticket if your tenting is legal in your home state but not in a state you travel through?

I remember this post about NY. They require a side window in a van to drive on the parkways!
